What’s next for the Government of Canada’s Homelessness Partnering Strategy?
What do you think is needed to prevent and reduce homelessness in Canada?
The Government of Canada’s Advisory Committee on Homelessness has launched an online engagement process to inform the direction and redesign of Employment and Social Development Canada’s Homelessness Partnering Strategy (HPS).
HPS currently provides funding to communities across Canada to support their efforts to address homelessness. Through Budget 2017, the Government of Canada announced that it would expand and extend funding for the HPS beyond 2018-2019.
You can share your views by visiting esdc-consultations.canada.ca/homelessness and participating in the online survey, sharing your personal experiences or simply by leaving a comment below. All of the comments left here will be submitted directly to the Advisory Committee on Homelessness.
Learn more about this process by visiting the online engagement tool webpage. The deadline to submit your thoughts online is the end of August 2017.
